It Takes Two To [Tangled Blessings] | Character Creation

Jess & Kent sit down to make their characters and start a new two-player series exploring Blackroot Academy in Cassi Mothwin's dark-academia flavored RPG Tangled Blessings. Based on the tarot-style resolution in Samantha Leigh's Anamnesis (see Rene's solo playthrough here), this game can be played solo or as two players pitted against one another as rivals at the highly selective magic school.

 

Meet Angelica & Elias, two new mages about to begin an intertwined adventure where only one will be declared the strongest at the end of their fourth year. Who will it be, and what history will come back to factor into their final competition?

 

Also, thank you and shout out to friend of the DMs K. Parr, who not only provided the tarot card deck Jess & Kent are using for the game, but recorded the introductory letter from the headmaster as well!
