Having escaped by the skin of his teeth, our protagonist has fled the Robot God and made distance between himself and his quarry to recover and prepare for another assault.  He descends into an old, collapsed subway tunnel now known as The Cave of Shinda and emerges with a renewed will, heading back south to confront the God for the last time. Along the way he further limits the god's power by cutting off a power supply and meets it on the steps of a federal building for another go...
