For our first long-form campaign, Christian introduces the group to Chaosium's RuneQuest as we create our characters for the Bronze Age fantasy world of Glorantha.  Meet the PCs, learn a little about this incredibly well fleshed out world full of myth and lore that dates back to the 1970s.

After coming so close to the strange glyph-marked plateau only to be snatched by a gargoyle and pulled up into the Rafters high above the Roomlands, our protagonists are left searching for a way back down, or maybe a way farther up onto the legendary Battlements.  As the glass of a skylight shatters and causes a commotion in the jungles of the Rafters, our heroes find themselves among a strange group who have been working toward this moment for a long time...

We rejoin Marco, Berger, and Alis following a decisive victory against a massive flying Rook, completing their first Hunter's Guild quest! Unfortunately, their plans to proceed to the mysterious plateau in the canyonlands bearing the glyph depicted on Marco's familial map go a little sideways (or skyward?), leading to a whole new area of the Roomlands to be explored!  Not to mention, a little weird conspiracy theorizing going on!

A flying Rook roosting in a tower... on an island... in the middle of a lake... perched atop a plateau! Talk about a crazy site for a fight! Will our protagonists be able to stick to the plan of getting inside the massive Rook and shut it down from the inside, or will they be tossed off the edge of the cliffs to an early ending?

We rejoin Marco, Berger, and Alis as they've alerted some bandits hiding out in the giant skull of a fallen Rook in the harsh canyonlands outside of Rust Grove.  Our heroes are outnumbered and you may be surprised at who manages to carry the fight, but it doesn't come without Wounds and consequences.  As they near the site of their quest from the local Hunter's Guild, they meet an antagonistic NPC who comes with a warning, and the plot thickens before the looming battle...

Episode 2 of our Crossroads Carnival series sees a slightly smaller cast dealing with the locals in Silence, Oklahoma, where the carnival has set up its tents and wagons.  The characters meet some folks who are struggling like most during the Depression, but some who are certainly suffering a little bit more...
